Top Five Romantic Spots In The Caribbean

Taking a long break to the Caribbean resorts is a top choice for many people, to enjoy a relaxed chilled out time. The Caribbean is famous for its deep blue sea, white soft sand and beautiful blue sky. Top this with a warm climate all year round and a cool beverage in one hand and you have yourself a heavenly destination. As well as being the most appealing places to visit, it has its rewards of offering plenty of sneak peak spots for a truly romantic trip.
The Caribbean offers an impressive history spanning back many years, with a rich culture filled with exotic cuisines and plenty of diversity in cocktails. Many couples and newlyweds choose the Caribbean resorts as their first choice for a honeymoon, wedding ceremony or for a romantic breakaway. Some of the more popular beaches offer romantic scenery and colourful views, making it the top choice for a lover's getaway.
Below I have selected five of the most romantic Caribbean resorts, taking into consideration the stunning views, entertainment and popularity. These are based on my own personal opinions, as others who have visited this island may have had very different experiences. However, no matter how many times you have visited the island this cannot be denied to be the most private and romantic spot.
At number, five is Aruba. Most of the hotels in Aruba are all stocked up and installed with high speed broad band internet - but one would need to be mad to stay in all day in their room surfing the net and missing out on the glorious pristine white beaches and fun-filled vibrant nightlife. Not to mention the delectable and numerous selections of wonderful restaurants to keep you happy, this provides a fun and entertaining romantic spot for constant interaction.
Aruba houses many activities, which not only include plenty of sun soaking time, but also water sports, paragliding, jet skiing, snorkelling and sailing. It makes for an appealing holiday, because of the all-inclusive services, so there would not be any worry for your finances as this is all paid in advance.
Number four on my list of romantic spots in the Caribbean resorts is Turtle beach in St Croix. This is considered to be one of the best beaches in the Caribbean with powdered white sand to tickle your feet and milky yet deep blue sea that is naturally warm by the blazing sun. St Croix is part of the US Virgin Islands and has the liveliest nightlife as well as being relatively quiet.
As this is, the lesser developed island it makes for a quiet getaway and mellow atmosphere. Like Aruba, it offers water sports, clear blue water and plenty of cuisines to sample whilst sitting out under the stars.Standing in number three, is the ever-beautiful St Lucia. Over 19,000 acres of it is covered with rainforest making it truly tropical in its appearance as its national birds add to the colourful appeal. For couples looking to have more than just a relaxing beach to lie on, they can also enjoy regular tours of the rainforest with special views of the birds. In addition, there is a range of restaurant entertainment and luxury boutique hotels to keep you more occupied.
At number, two is Antigua. This is famous for hosting the sailing contest every year, Sailing Week, which is a prestigious event set on the water. Visitors will be more surprised by the quiet and un-crowded beaches, making you feel like you are the only one on the island filled with quality high classed facilities. This is a popular choice for wedding and honeymooners, because of its private location and personal services offered to guests.
Finally, at number one stands an extremely popular island out of all the Caribbean resorts is the Bahamas. This is known as the island of good-times, but it also offers the island of good times to couples looking for a memorable experience with each other. All visitors feel like returning having experience the relaxed and friendly nature of the locals, cosy private beaches and a variety of sporting activities. Visitors will experience a truly West Indian experience more than anywhere else in the Caribbean.
